Handrail illumination installation at Darlington Station, covering Platforms 1 to 4 and marking another milestone in the station’s transformation.

Working alongside Carver Engineering Services Ltd, Lighting Integration delivered a fully integrated lighting solution, carefully designed and installed to improve visibility and accessibility while sitting comfortably within the historic station environment.

This element forms part of Network Rail's multi-million-pound upgrade, helping create a modern, accessible transport hub in County Durham that strengthens both local and national connectivity.

Great collaboration across all partners involved, including Tees Valley Combined Authority, Darlington Borough Council and London North Eastern Railway. Another step forward in delivering a station fit for the future.
